Recommendations

Jakke supplements are suitable for all dogs, regardless of age, size or breed, and of course also for cats.

Sufficient calcium intake is very important for puppies, especially if the puppy's feeding is based on raw feeding, because calcium is very important for the development of bones and teeth. Other Jakke supplements can also be fed to the puppies as needed - e.g. joint nutrients from about six months of age with a preventive dosage.

For adult dogs, supplements are chosen according to need; e.g. does the dog have problems with joints or is the dog under so much stress that it needs support from supplements in addition to feeding or are there problems with fur or sensors.

In elder dogs, the joints have often seen miles, so joint nutrients are often in order for the dog's well-being. Also, as the dog gets older, the fur can thin out and deteriorate, so you should consider fur-supporting supplements.

Jakke supplements include products aimed especially at joints and tendons, but also products for bones, muscles, stress, fur, skin, sensors, teeth, urinary tract problems, etc.

Osteoarthritis, arthritis, lameness

Is your dog stiff? Is it reluctant to go for a run? Does it have trouble lying down/up? Does your dog nibble/bite/lick its paws? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, your dog may be suffering from osteoarthritis.

Osteoarthritis is a chronic, bone-degenerating disease, which manifests itself in the soft tissue of the bone tissue and joints. Osteoarthritis weakens joint mobility and is often very painful, and it is unfortunately not possible to cure it. Osteoarthritis can affect any joint, but it especially occurs in: hip, knee, elbow and shoulder joints, joints between vertebrae and foot joints.

Osteoarthritis patients express pain by limping, reluctance to move, biting limbs or anger. The symptoms are alleviated with supportive care.

  • Weight management - obesity can cause additional joint pain and joint damage
  • Ruokavalio – tietyillä ruoilla sekä lisäravinteilla on positiivinen vaikutus niveliin.⁣
  • Controlled exercise - preventing obesity and strengthening muscles

Osteoarthritis is most often caused by injury, arthritis, obesity, stress, and the age of the dog also affects its prevalence.

Approximately one dog out of five suffers from osteoarthritis, regardless of breed or age. Of course, arthritis occurs more often in elderly and large dogs, such as Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Bernese Shepherds, Rottweilers, Great Danes and St. Bernards. However, small breed dogs can also get arthritis.

If your beloved dog or cat suffers from the problems mentioned above, you should familiarize yourself with our supplements. You can use Jakke Collagen+HA, Jakke Agility, Jakke Move+, Jakke Gluko+HA or Jakke Action to support the treatment of osteoarthritis, arthritis or their prevention!

+ easy to use

Skin problems, rough sensors, brittle nails

Is there flaking, fur loss and graying and sebum secretion, are the sensors rough, are the nails brittle? This indicates that your dog is lacking in nutrients.

Nutrients that can help your dog:

  • Along with biotin, copper, zinc and methionine are essential ingredients for skin regeneration and fur growth.
  • Rosehip is good for the skin and hair, a real health bomb with a lot of vitamins C and E and fiber, as well as bioflavonoids, antioxidants, amino acids, glucose, beta-carotene, copper, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, selenium, omega-3 -fatty acids, fluoride, vitamins A, K, D, B6 etc.
  • Lecithin contains a lot of phospholipids and unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acid, also known as Omega-3 and Omega-6). These fats are very important for healthy fur growth and cell function.
  • Sea buckthorn is exceptionally rich in flavonoids, Omega oils and vitamins. Its sea buckthorn oil is good for the skin, mucous membranes, heart, blood vessels, circulation and the body's defense system. The oil content of sea buckthorn pulp varies between 4-7%. No other berry has such a high oil content. Vitamin E and cartenoid-rich palmettoline and linoleic oils are very favorable for fat metabolism. More than 90% of the fatty acids contained in sea buckthorn are so-called essential Omega 3 fatty acids. In addition, sea buckthorn also contains Omega 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids.
  • Brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) produces B vitamins and vitamins C and K. B vitamins in particular support fur growth and condition.

These nutrients improve the condition of the coat, promote growth and regeneration, and are important for the skin and horn substance in terms of their well-being, and Jakke BioMix consists of these nutrients.

Oral and dental care, bad breath

Does your dog or cat's mouth smell bad? Is easily visible tartar accumulating on the teeth?

Caring for your dog's teeth is a very important part of keeping them in ideal condition. Around 85% of dogs already have dental problems by the age of three, so taking care of their teeth is just as important as taking care of other visible health symptoms.

Jakke Seaweed is a 100% natural product, feed for dogs; effective against bad breath, tartar and plaque, good for stomach, nails, skin and fur, contains e.g. lots of vitamins, amino acids, Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids and minerals and trace elements.

Seaweed prevents the formation of tartar and plaque on the surface of the tooth and thus also reduces the bacteria content in the oral cavity. The ingredients of the seaweed are absorbed into the blood during digestion, and thus the composition of the saliva changes, fluffing the tartar and preventing the attachment of new plaque deposits. The composition of saliva can help fight bacteria that cause plaque and tartar.
